For many years our Christmas tradition has been to host a Holiday Dinner at the beginning of every December. It was a time to come together as a community to share good food, tell stories and for our children to have an opportunity to see the big guy himself, Santa.

However the Covid pandemic and restrictions on indoor gatherings forced us to change our plans. We pivoted and out of that came the 1st Annual RWSCA Holiday Tree Lighting.

We were able to gather outdoors, and come together as a community but in a different way. We sang carols and enjoyed the wonderful music from Sam on Sax. There was hot chocolate and lots of yummy treats. Of course it wouldn't be a tri-village event if Santa himself didn't come riding in on a firetruck.

Since we had such a great time last year we are going to do it again this year. Mark your calendars for Saturday December 3rd @ 5:30pm for the 2nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting event. Check out our Facebook event here if you want more information or if you have any questions.
