The Run the Rodanthe bridge race was a first of its kind for Hatteras Island and the first race put on by the RWSCA. It was a 5K and 5M walk/run across the new jug handle bridge.

This fundraising event was spearheaded by RWSCA President Tom Amatucci for which we are very thankful.

The race over the new jug handle bridge saw over 600 registrants and was a huge success.
